Notes

• The tool now compares the final responsive hop against the resolved target endpoints and reports whether the route visibly reached the destination ASN or metro area, instead of leaving operators to guess whether the trace actually got close to the target network.
• Resolved target endpoint context now shows target ASN, ISP, and location so anycast, CDN edge spread, and final-hop alignment can be judged without a separate ASN or IP geolocation lookup.
• Private or reserved targets are blocked to prevent internal-network tracing attempts.
